Let Listhand send the first reply in minutes

Questions
How fast should I reply to a new lead?
As fast as you can, ideally within minutes while the lead is still on their phone or at their computer. The first text and email in this plan are meant to go out the same day the lead comes in.
Why mix texts and emails?
Some people answer texts and ignore email, others are the opposite. Alternating channels over 14 days gives the lead several easy ways to reply without sending a message every day.
Do I need permission to text a lead?
Texting rules are stricter than email. In the US you generally need the lead's consent before sending automated or marketing texts, and every text should tell them how to opt out (for example "Reply STOP to opt out"). Texts sent from your own phone, one at a time, carry fewer requirements, but consent is still the safe default. This is not legal advice; check with your broker.
What should every follow-up email include?
A clear subject, who it is from, a way to unsubscribe, and your physical mailing address for commercial email under CAN-SPAM. Stop emailing anyone who asks you to.
When should I stop following up?
Stop as soon as the lead replies (switch to a real conversation), books a showing, asks you to stop, or tells you they have bought or are working with someone else.
How is this related to Listhand?
This is the same 14-day plan Listhand drafts for every new lead. In Listhand the instant reply goes out in minutes, follow-ups either wait for your approval or send on schedule, and the plan stops automatically when the lead replies, unsubscribes or books. The templates on this page are free to use without an account.
